Your Secret Design Weapon: A Private Sourcing Expert

Design inspiration has never been easier to find. Open Pinterest, scroll Instagram, or ask AI and suddenly you have hundreds of beautiful kitchens, bathrooms, and interiors staring back at you.

But inspiration is the easy part. And this stunning kitchen didn’t source itself…

Example of a well put together design with a cohesive feel.

The real challenge?
Actually bringing those ideas to life.

That’s where I come in.

After decades working behind the scenes in the design and building industry as an interior designer, general contractor and project manager, I’ve learned that the most overwhelming part of any project isn’t the vision, it’s the sourcing, execution and management… and the decisions that follow.

Tile, slabs, flooring, plumbing fixtures, hardware, lighting, cabinetry finishes… and making sure all of those pieces actually work together.

Most people simply don’t have the time or access to sort through thousands of materials, vendors, and options. Even experienced designers and contractors can get buried in it.

That’s why I created The Striped Barn consulting…an eclectic approach to interior design, blending DIY support with thoughtful, can’t-live-without services.

Think of Me as Your Private Design Sourcing Partner

Helping you by consulting and sourcing is a little different from a traditional interior designer.

I help bring the materials and selections together so your project becomes cohesive, elevated, and achievable.

I work with:

Homeowners tackling a DIY renovation who need guidance
Interior designers who want help sourcing materials and help showing their clients materials
Contractors and builders who need a trusted resource for selections and need help with client interaction
Trades and project teams who want everything coordinated smoothly

Instead of spending hours researching, visiting multiple showrooms, and second-guessing decisions, I help narrow the field and curate the right materials for your project.

What Sourcing Really Means

Sourcing isn’t just picking something that looks nice online.

It means understanding how materials work together in the real world.

For example:

• Pairing the right stone slab with tile and cabinetry finishes
• Finding flooring that works with the home’s style and lifestyle
• Coordinating colors, textures, and scale so the project feels intentional
• Visiting showrooms and suppliers to find the right materials and get eyes on the materials
• Making sure selections align with budget and timeline

These details are what elevate a project from nice to exceptional.

Why This Matters Now More Than Ever

Technology can show you beautiful spaces instantly but not execute the project

It can’t walk a slab yard with you, or check quality

It can’t compare three tiles in natural light and know where to get the fourth

It can’t help you decide which flooring will still look great ten years from now or fits your vision

That’s where experience matters.

After decades in this industry, I know where to look, what to avoid, and how to bring all the pieces together so the final result feels effortless.

When People Usually Call Me
