Hi Striped Barn friends!

I can’t believe its Easter tomorrow! I’ve finished up my DIY holiday projects and I’m ready to enjoy the weekend! Even though I’m creative year round holidays are my favorite time to be creative. I usually do something with florals, gifts, baking and a few DIY craft projects. Due to my time schedule most of my projects are simple and budget friendly.

The Striped barn style is always simple, neutral, an occasional pop of color, and a balance of character and texture! Here are a few DIY Easter ideas below and you can find the projects and recipes on my blog. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out and check back soon as we start the summer holiday season with Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Memorial Day and Fourth of July!

Cupcakes and cookies don’t have to be elaborate, keep it simple and cute.
Sprinkle edible flowers on everything for a simple wow and don’t forget to use decorative plates for presentation!
White chocolate flower bark
Creative Easter basket, grab a canvas bag from Michaels and cut out fabric pieces.
Sometimes less is more.
No time to frost & decorate? Just add a couple of details for the same impact.
Sugar cookies just add edible flowers.
Package up the cookies for an easy gift idea.
Another great gift idea using a jar instead of bags.
Personalized gift card quick, easy, and budget friendly.
Flowers take on a whole new look when you split them up into individual mini vases. Use them as a centerpiece or give as a gift.
I usually have flowers left over for more mini vases to place in other rooms.
Try placing them straight onto the table without a holder. You can arrange them anyway youd like.
Try different flower combinations.

Stay Creative!

Carrie
